Sip on the Square is Wimberley’s original coffee shop, located in the heart of the historic Wimberley Square. Since opening our doors in 2010, we have remained proudly under original ownership, serving handcrafted coffee, genuine hospitality, and a welcoming place for locals and visitors to gather.
At Sip, we believe great coffee starts with great ingredients and careful preparation. We proudly serve premium coffee roasted specifically for us in small batches by Anderson's Coffee Roasters in Austin, TX, and every espresso drink is handcrafted by our team. Whether you’re ordering a classic latte, a cold brew, a seasonal specialty drink, or a simple cup of drip coffee, our goal is always the same: to serve the best coffee in Wimberley, one cup at a time.
Over the years, Sip on the Square has become a daily tradition for many in our community. It’s where friends catch up, business meetings happen over coffee, visitors begin their day exploring the Hill Country, and regulars are greeted by name. Sip on the Square has always been a family business.
When I opened Sip in 2010, my vision was simple: create a welcoming place where great coffee and genuine hospitality could bring people together. What I could never have imagined was how many friendships, celebrations, traditions, and memories would be shared within these walls over the years.
As a business owner, wife, and mom raising my family right here in Wimberley, I understand how important community is. My children have grown up around the coffee shop, and many of our customers have become friends who have watched both Sip and our family grow over the years.
One of the greatest joys of owning Sip has been seeing visitors return year after year and watching first-time guests become regulars. Whether you’re stopping in for your morning coffee, meeting friends on the patio, or visiting Wimberley for the very first time, we are grateful you’ve chosen to spend part of your day with us.
